Wankhede Blast... tremors felt at Reshi

When Gambhir, Kholi, Dhoni and Yuvi blasted at Sri Lankan ballers in the Mumbai Wankhede Stadium last night tremors were felt in this remote part of the world. As soon as Dhoni hit his last six to prove the world that India's is the best team, our staff burst crackers to prove that cricket is a common language that cemented the whole of Indian nation.Rejoicing was prolonged. Instant bonfire, singing and revelry dominated the otherwise calm and quite Reshi valley.

"The Reshi Retreat and Farmhouse" congratulates the Indian cricket team and each Indian for this long waited and well deserved victory.

Strikes a blessing in disguise.

Political uncertainty and a long lean period caused thereof in otherwise a busy tourist season has also been a blessing in disguise for "The Reshi Retreat and Farmhouse". Mani and his friends are working hard to remove all the stones and rocks on the west end of the farmhouse for a bit of landscaping.Future plans for a little garden and play space for children seem to be coming up faster than earlier planned. And thanks to these continuous strikes in the hills.
